Tasting Note
This is a truly local expression of a grape grown in the southwest of France; Ugni Blanc. This grape is well known for its varietal expression, and with these vines reaching around 50 years old, this is a superb example. We love the freshness in the wine, with lots of citrus and stone fruits, as well as a subtle minerality. On the palate the wine is dry, light to medium in body, with an acidity that isn’t overbearing. It’s a fun wine that’s tasty works well with a variety of different foods.

Grilled Heart of Gem Lettuce, English Mushroom, Toasted Yeast and Truffled Vinaigrette
A great pairing. The wines freshness really enhancing that truffled vinaigrette, as well as cutting through the richness of those English mushrooms – yum!
