Roganic is Simon Rogan’s new restaurant in the heart of Marylebone. Simon is behind award winning restaurants such as L’Enclume, Rogan and Co, Aulis. The restaurant will be offering Simon’s unique style of cooking in a friendly, professional environment.

Simon’s modern cooking style and creative techniques are inspired by his love of British produce, which he sources from his own farm in Cumbria.

The wine cellar at Roganic combines small growers with big names. Put together by Pierre Brunelli who has passionately grown his wine programme to include hidden gems from around the world. By cleverly pairing unique styles of wine with our award winning food, our wine team guides guests through the world of oenology with interest and passion.

Candidate requirements
We are looking somebody who is passionate and ready to push their skill further in the world of wine. In this role you will be trained and moulded to give high service standards and an in-depth knowledge about food, wine, tea, coffee and pairings. You will be a team player and have excellent communication skills and attention to detail in order to deliver outstanding quality and service.

Scope and purpose of job
To maintain excellent service standards on the restaurant floor whilst working with others to do the same. Assisting the management team in implementing development changes within the restaurant.

Specific job accountabilities
Maintaining customer focused service principles throughout Roganic.
Operating a station during service to the high standards set.
Have a good understanding of the wine list & drinks service.
Have an in-depth menu knowledge & menu items.
Being a perfect example of the Roganic standards throughout all manner of service

The Commis Sommelier is expected to understand various areas of the operation
