L'Enclume located in the beautiful village of Cartmel in the Lake District has been awarded 3 Michelin stars, 1 Michelin Green star and 5AA Rosettes. We pride ourselves on serving exceptional local and seasonal ingredients via our carefully curated tasting menus and delivering an outstanding experience for our guests. We are open 5 days a week for Dinner - Tuesday - Saturday and 4 for Lunch - Wednesday - Saturday. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

We are currently recruiting for a Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team. The Junior Sous Chef will work closely with our Head Chef to oversee the daily running of the restaurant and lead the kitchen team of 19.

Key Responsibilities will include:

- Involvement in dish and menu development with the senior culinary team

- Day to day running of the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef

- Rota Management

- Achieving financial targets

- Maintaining all Health and Safety standards

- Team training and development

We are keen to hear from chefs with experience leading quality kitchens, a passion for quality ingredients and the ability to motivate, enthuse and inspire junior chefs.
