To continue the theme of giving back this Christmas, we have once again included the option to donate to The Barrow Foodbank at the checkout. The Barrow Foodbank, not far from us in Cartmel, offer three days of nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people in crisis.
Last Black Friday, our wonderful customers raised just over £2,500 for Barrow Foodbank, which helped Barrow Foodbank continue its vital services. The donations contributed to the purchase of a much needed new van, meaning that the team could increase their capacity for home deliveries and maintain food collections to our satellite centres in Ulverston and Millom.
