2022 - Our Big Anniversary Year - Announcing our First Event at Henrock

2022 marks 20 years since Simon opened our first restaurant L’Enclume in the village of Cartmel.

To celebrate this milestone and two decades since the restaurant group was born, we have created 20 very special moments - to include one-off events, special-edition products and other commemorative experiences and mementoes - both at home and away, throughout the year.

The first of our anniversary events will take place at Henrock this January where I will be cooking all my favourite dishes since we first started, be it from my restaurants in The Lakes, Roganic London / Hong Kong, Aulis and various openings and events over the years.

The cutting-edge learning package has been designed to equip participants with extraordinary skills and provide a strong foothold in the hospitality industry and develop a career in one of the UK’s leading restaurant groups.

The paid course will run for 18-months, culminating in a fully expensed week-long stagiaire at Roganic Hong Kong - with all flights and hotel accommodation paid for!

I am delighted and humbled to be taking over from Brian Turner as Bocuse d’Or UK President. After holding the role for nearly 30 years I would like to thank Brian for his dedication, and undoubtedly cementing the UK’s standing within the Bocuse d’Or family.

The UK Team are once again through to the world final, with Tom Phillips from Restaurant Story and commis chef Nathan Lane competing on 29-30 January 2019 in Lyon. I am very much looking forward to being there to support them. Read more

We are very excited to open two restaurants in London later this year.

Aulis London, our eight-seater chef's table will mirror the Aulis concept in Cartmel and serve as the development kitchen for Roganic, our second London restaurant opening.
